Please do not include confidential or sensitive text from your
translations.

System Requirements

TranslAI requires:

• A Mac with Apple silicon
• macOS 26.0 or later
• At least 16 GB of unified memory
• Approximately 5 GB of available storage for installation

Intel-based Macs and Macs with less than 16 GB of unified memory are not
supported.

TranslAI supports direct translation between:

• English

• Portuguese (Portugal)

• Bulgarian

Select the same language as both source and target to correct grammar,
spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and phrasing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does TranslAI require an internet connection?

No. After installation from the Mac App Store, TranslAI works without an
internet connection. The translation model is included with the app, and
no additional model download is required.

Does TranslAI collect or transmit my text?

No. TranslAI has no network access and does not collect translation text,
Chat content, Study Center content, analytics, or tracking data.

Settings, glossary entries, and saved Study vocabulary remain in the
app’s local sandbox on your Mac.

Why may the first translation take longer?

The local language model may require a short preparation period when it
is first used after launch. Subsequent translations are generally faster.

How do I correct text without translating it?

Select the same language on both sides, enter your text, and run the
translation. TranslAI will correct the text while preserving its original
meaning.

How do I remove my local data?

Open Settings → Privacy & Data, then select
Reset TranslAI.

This permanently removes locally stored settings, glossary entries, and
Study vocabulary. This action cannot be undone.

How do I reinstall TranslAI?

Delete TranslAI from the Applications folder and download it again from
the Mac App Store. Previously stored local app data may remain unless it
is removed through Reset TranslAI before uninstalling.

• No cloud processing
• No analytics or advertising
• No tracking
• No runtime model downloads
• No transmission of user text
